Andy Fuchs has done a great job designing his new Plush line of pedals. I have always had a pet peeve when it comes to distortion pedals – it bothers me when the output of the effect is lower than your amp’s original signal. This is definitely not the case with the Plush pedal line. You can easily achieve unity gain or boost well past all with a smooth round sound, great feel and very low noise. That alone got my attention. The next most important thing Andy got right is the ability to drive the front end of a clean amp. All of the plush pedals can sound like an amp channel rather than a pedal. Another stand out feature is the preservation of instrument character. Your guitar has a tone and these pedals embellish it rather than mask it. These plush pedals do for your tone what spinner rims do for your ride they PIMP it out in fine style.
