Andy’s long career in music and electronics is well known. From the small workshop started in his dad’s music store basement, to working on NYC’s famous “Music Row” 48 th street in Manhattan, to working at many service companies around NYC, Andy has seen and serviced gear for many artists worldwide. He has worked (and still works) as a professional musician since his first gig with his dad at 17 years old, and through that, began building and modifying his own guitars and amps. After a successful career in technical sales and in systems integration and fire alarm systems, Andy returned to building and servicing amps in his home shop. Thanks to the internet, word spread and the business soon thrived and moved out of the house. Today Fuchs Audio is in an awesome 1920’s factory building in Clifton New Jersey, with a showroom, a repair shop servicing equipment for music stores, local and national musicians and backline companies like Boulevard Pro, Carol Music, SST, Best Instrument Rentals and SIR. Andy’s day-to responsibilities include engineering new products, QC and enhancement of all production products, overseeing the service and assembly line and assisting with technical support and artist interfacing.

With over 30 years in accounting and bookeeping, Sandra Stetson is a recent addition to our office staff. Reporting directly to Andy and working with Scot our shop manager and our dealer network, Sandra runs our companies accounting department to keep our shop running smoothly.

Scot supervises our shop, builds amps assuring smooth workflow. Scot's role is oversee all product assembly from start to shipment and to keep products flowing through the shop as quickly and efficiently as possible. He is also now working with Andy jointly designing some new products for Fuchs ! From monitoring our raw-part inventory, to assigning work to our build staff, and assisting the office with billing and smooth shipments to our distributors, Scot gets the job done !

After apprenticing under the late John Ninivaggi (our lead wirer since the early 2000’s) Sean worked side-by-side with John until he passed 2017. Sean has assumed the role of lead assembler, wiring, soldering, mechanical assembly of all models of amps. Sean has known the Fuchs family over 20 years and wires amps like a true artisan.

Rod plays excellent guitar and in his prior career was in management in corporate America. Rod has now joined Fuchs as a multi-faceted staff member: Working as a shop assistant, dealer sales contact and helps Andy on the purchasing and inventory side of Fuchs.

With over 50 years experience in the manufacture, QC and repair of musical electronics for such companies at Crestron, Robbie's Music, Latin Percussion, Fuchs and others. Russ Crapella is our senior technician and leads our service division. When he's not out gigging on guitar, bass and vocals, he's fixing !
